Red Hill Jumps! is Bernal Heights' five times a year political poetry happening.
This time the theme is "The place called San Francisco." Poets from across the city (and beyond) will chant the color, smells, oddities, and wonders of the thumb nail to a peninsula . . . SF.
Food, games, poetry, music. And a brief homage to Texas, where a severance tax on petroleum buffers the state from huge tuition hikes, in contrast to California where there's no severance tax on petroleum. Go figure! This evening will do the calculation with words!
Yeah, invite your favorite political junkie, and your favorite candidate for supervisor to come hear how to stop the privatization of everything!
