The Vermont Workers’ Center (VWC) has achieved a historic victory to pass the country’s first universal healthcare law. In this workshop we will breakdown how they won this fight, share key tools and strategies, and discuss the potential for building nationally on this issue. Catalyst Project is honored to host VWC leaders James Haslam, Amy Lester and Anisa Potvin who will discuss lessons from the Healthcare is a Human Right Campaign and how they are working to build a broad grassroots movement for human rights and real democracy.
