Tuesday night, the Berkeley City Council will be considering an
initiative for the November ballot to ban sitting and lying on the
sidewalk. Owner of Annapurna's head shop, Roland Pe...terson,
is Executive Director of the Telegraph Business I...mprovement
District (TBID) this year, and has been one of the main people
pushing the ban. He's also called for People's Park to be taken
over by the University.
