Broken Rainbow is an Academy Award winning documentary on the forced removal of 14,000 Diné (Navajo) people from their ancestral homeland in Arizona. For over 35 years since US Congress passed the Relocation Act, traditional Diné at Black Mesa have resisted relocation and the expansion of devastating coal strip mining operations by Peabody Coal.

Join us for a screening of this film, followed by a short presentation about support caravans to Black Mesa and updates about ongoing struggles on the Navajo reservation.
