East Bay | Global Justice and Anti-Capitalism | Police State and PrisonsFTP March in solidarity with Athens and Occupy CAL Berkeley
Another peaceful protest. We marched all the way to the Berkeley International House near the UC Berkeley Campus. There were very few police officers involved. See Zachary Running Wolf's related article regarding the Berkeley police department. We have not marched that way since the last big strike with CAL when we filled the upper sproul plaza at the Berkeley campus. Ayr and Zach spoke about the relevance of our affinity and related events to the Berkeley Oak Grove Treesit. Afterwards we went on an informal UCB walk of shame tour highlighting the former majestic Oak Grove, the evils of the Haus School of Business, Mario Savio steps, and avoided the Chancellor's home completely.
