California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food, A Grassroots Ballot Initiative

Date:
Monday, February 13, 2012
Time:
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Event Type:
Class/Workshop
Organizer/Author:
Alanna
Location Details:
365 Forest Ave, #5A
Palo Alto, CA 94301

Want to help get GMOs labeled across the entire state of California? We will need everyone's help to gather the required signatures to get it on the ballot for Nov 2012. Signature gathering will begin soon, but first those who want to volunteer to gather signatures need to meet for an important training workshop. Even if you have collected signatures before, we have specific, important information to share with you.

This location is at the northeast corner of Gilman and Forest. It is accessible via the Palo Alto CalTrain Station. There is also a city parking lot adjacent (where the Saturday Farmers' Market is located) with unrestricted parking after 5 pm. You may notice 675 on the commercial unit on Gilman - keep walking to the archway. Go through the archway towards the lobby. When you get to the intercom, press 001 and we will buzz you in. Once inside the lobby, take the elevator to the 5th floor and go left, left and left.

Please share and bring a friend! Together we will finally give Californians what we all deserve: the opportunity to know what's in our food.

To RSVP, please visit the event page on the campaign website:
