more pix of jan 28 2012 street action + lame comments
collage1.jpg
Got to the march late and missed the start. was trailing/flanking march From laney on.
Got “kettled” last weekend at FTP,

(on 8th? Held for half-hour then the cops let us, maybe 50-75 people including folks from restaurants go. Police line marched closer from one side of the block. They seemed to be looking for individuals and when they didn’t find what they were looking for + restaurateurs they let us all go after declaring “unlawful ass”).

Apparently “kettle + gass + bomb” is the scare tactic de jure Now. which is why I chose to be either behind the police advance or with a clear retreat With side street recon on bike. Upwind is good for gas attacks also.
(haha stupid cops didn’t read their own manual about deploying aerosolized chem munitions, what was it? Don’t piss in the wind? Haha!?)

looked like the part of the march that went between the vacant kaiser and the construction zone was a set up so I went around the lake and missed the “battle of oak “, epic!

You shield folk are WAY braver than me but
Why play the cops game by their rules on their playing field. (makes good photo opps, tho I suggest a re-read of sun tzu’s “the art of war” is in order. some of the stuff doesn’t fit in too good with anarchy but a lot of the asymmetrical war tactics are as valid today as they were 2500 yrs ago. Just look at Afghanistan) The cops spray us with chem on order like cockroaches (not to mention bombs & baton rounds) but it seems to me like their “newer” costumes makes them look more like roaches than ever. Check out the shin/toe gear in one of these pix. Ready for the karate toe flange smash move? Sad eh?
Maybe eventually they will evolve to be armored up like dialeks of Dr who ilke. EXTERMINATE! Who is dehumanizing whom!?!?
Also missed the YMCA kettle. Got there late again after they had closed off broadway. Got some pix of more militarized up stuff tho. LRAD on a APC + alameda CO sheriff with a machinegun/assault rifle? Breaking out the “more than lethal” weapons I suppose. Another photo opp? The robocops didn’t seem to mind us snapping pix or even taunting as long as their orders were to not attack. Nothing personal, Just following orders…
My count of various police agencies:
Hayward pd.
Pleasenton pd.
Chp
Alameda county roach sheriffs
Sfpd
Ad of course
Opd.
(not to mention san mateo county sheriffs bus)
Enjoy!! (or not:=(
