Why do 1 in 7 people live in poverty in the United States?
Cuba shows the alternative!

According to the last census, over forty-six million Americans currently live in poverty. How is such suffering possible in the United States, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, especially while the richest one percent lives in ever grander opulence?

Instead of attending to the needs of working-class and poor Americans, the state forces agreements such as NAFTA on neighboring countries that take away jobs from the ninety-nine percent here and abroad. These policies help only the rich!

The fifty-third anniversary of the Cuban revolution reminds us that there is an alternative to the downward spiral of capitalism, and that is socialism. Despite immense obstacles, socialist Cuba has provided its people with universal housing, health-care, and education, and serves as a model for the struggling majorities of the world!

Acuerdo al ultimo censo, mas de cuarenta y seis millones de americanos actualmente viviendo en pobreza. ¿Como se es posible tanto sufrimiento en los Estados Unidos, el país mas rico en la historia del planeta, especialmente mientras el mas rico un por ciento vive en grandiosa opulencia?

En vez de atender las necesidades de los obreros y pobre americanos, el estado impone acuerdos como NAFTA a países vecinos que toman trabajos del 99% aquí y en el extranjero. ¡Estas políticas solo ayudan a los ricos!

El tercero cincuenta aniversario de la revolución cubana nos recuerda que si hay una alternativa a la recaída del capitalismo, y es el socialismo. Sin importar los inmensos obstáculos ¡Cuba socialista ha otorgado a su pueblo vivienda, salud, y educación universal y sirve como modelo para la mayoría luchadora en el mundo!
