Nov 25, besides being the biggest shopping day of the year in the US, is also the day set by the UN as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. BAWiB, in conjunction with the Women in Black of Colombia and International Women in Black, ask our Bay Area allies to join us as we call attention to the military-corporate excesses of our country and the devastating results on the daily lives of all of us, but particularly on women and children. Please dress in black and plan to march and stand in silence. Signs will be provided.
