YOUNG EVENT: Book Signing and Reading for Don's new book---The Battle for Snow Mountain DAY AND TIME: THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2011, 7:30 pm LOCATION: CAPITOLA BOOKCAFE ADMISSION: Free PROGRAM: Don will read from his new novel about his experiences in the military during World War II--The Battle of the Bulge, his capture, POW release, and march to freedom. Don's view of the war is a comic yet powerful account of two soldiers and their survival during the last great battle of the war. Don shares his story with humor and a bit of song, capturing both the absurdity and seriousness of war. Veteran’s Day is a great reminder of what we gained from men like Don Young and also a great time to say thank you for your service and sacrifice. Come and share an evening with this local hero and author. After the reading Don will sign his book and share some more stories with you.
