I am all down for an anti-capitalist march, but this march was organized of somewhat of a splinter group of Occupy Oakland and was not decided on by consensus through the general assembly. We as Occupy Oakland decided that we would decided on actions and decisions as a collective body and through consensus. This did not happen with this march and it was organized by small group who basically circumvented the General Assembly and the process of consensus that we decided on, not too cool. I personally am ok with other autonomous groups like Bay of Rage organizing there own actions, but they should remain autonomous. On this flyer, it says OccupyOakland, but OccupyOakland did not take part in the process of organizing the march. Instead it was organized by people who describe themselves as: an autonomous affinity group within Occupy Oakland. Well, there is a difference and if they are going to put Occupy Oakland on the flyer, then they need to bring there proposed action before the GA. C'mon Bay of Rage, don't go rouge on us.

The perfect way to introduce Oakland residents to the land occupation of my dreams.

To let them know that they are part of the coming insurrection----

Are we talking Red as in cosmetics, or Red as in Communist, or Rogue as in Renegade??????????

it clearly states that this is being organized by an autonomous affinity group within occupy oakland. never does it pretend to be an event called by occupy oakland. that's like saying any flyer that puts "indybay.org" somewhere on it (which happens a lot i think for the sake of promoting this site) is trying to say indybay endorsed or organized the event/action. don't get all worked up over nothing. occupy oakland only stands to grow stronger if as many actions happen as possible.
