Anarchist General Assembly in Oakland! Call for content.
This is a call for content for the first of a series of regional anarchist general assemblies. The assembly will be held in Oakland on July 16th.
Let’s create a new kind of ANARCHIST GENERAL ASSEMBLY!
Saturday July 16th
12 – 5pm, BBQ to follow

The first of a series of regional anarchist general assemblies will be held in Oakland on July 16th.
The purpose of this assembly is to strengthen ties within the bay area's anarchist community by providing a regularly occurring event to share projects we’re working on, discuss the topics we are organizing around, promote collaboration and solidarity between different groups, spark new initiatives and build our collective capacity as a social antagonist force.
The assembly will complement the work of the Anarchist Salon, Anarchist Study Group, and other spaces where anti-authoritarians meet. It will have an active project, organizing and action related focus.
The assembly will not be a decision-making body; it will not create platforms or manifestos.

Structure -
* Presentations (1hr): 4 local anarchist groups will be selected to present a status report on their projects to the assembly. [Presentations undecided at this time, please send proposals before June 26th (sorry so soon)]
* Discussion (2.5hr): Attendees will break into 2-3 groups to discuss larger topics of anarchist interest or newly proposed projects/initiatives. [Topics undecided at this time, please send proposals before June 26th (sorry so soon)].
* Potluck BBQ, Informal Sessions and Social Time: 5:30pm @ Willard Park (Derby & Hillegass, Berkeley): Any content which doesn’t fit into the allotted times above is encouraged at the BBQ. This section of the assembly is the most open to individual's initiatives and creative interpretations, with the least scheduling constraints. Skillshares, presentations, informal discussions, tabling, or anything else you want to share is welcome here.

We're asking anyone who is in agreement with the following basic anarchist principles to attend:
- A rejection of all forms of hierarchy, including capitalism, patriarchy, white supremacy, heterosexism, and party based politics.
- Support for organizing on a non-hierarchical basis that promotes autonomy, solidarity, and the agency of those most affected by each decision.
- Working actively to build relationships and institutions that are based on equality, self determination, and sustainability.
The assembly will be a safer space, people who exhibit oppressive behavior will be asked to leave.

Unconventional Action in the Bay is scheduling the day’s events and coordinating logistics for this first assembly. The structure we’ve come up with is not rigid and participants will be encouraged to give feedback and help organize future assemblies. We strive to be transparent and accountable in the way we set up this event. We want this assembly to directly benefit anarchist individuals and groups in the region. With Aggressive U.S. Imperialist wars emerging around the globe the political processes including this meeting ought to remember the anti-fascist covenants that the Bush and Obama Regimes have ingnored and avoided, and begin the process of learning national and international supreme laws on the ending of aggressive war as any nations foreign policy. Example, NUREMBURG TRIALS 1945-46, chaired by U.S. Judge Jackson who wrote into the national and international world laws, that the planning and doing of aggressive war is the supreme international crime on the planet earth, as it actuates all other crimes high, low, big and small. He further says that it is the supreme international crime whether Germany does it or the U.S.A. does it.
The U.S. Constitution says that international treaties signed on to by the constitution are to be regarded as the supreme law of the land. This shows that the U.S. Imperialist Government has since 1945 onwards has been guilty of the very worst sort national and international crimes on the planet earth. That means any politics including anarchistic politics needs to adress these crimes and move to put an end to aggressive war as any nations foreign policy, which is the very essence of the liberation wars to end fascist-nazi axis power of 1) Might makes Right, 2) Unilateralism, 3) Pre-emptive strikes.
It further means that the class struggle and unity must centre on dismantling the war machine and its manufactury so that genuine freedom and independence can take place throughout the country and around the world. Name calling and disunity on these questions will be seen as the Arrogance that it is, and be defeated globally by the anti-fascist world peoples majority who have already written the laws of liberation as being the ending of aggression and war as any nations foreign policy.
Further doing of aggressive war since 1945 and onwards will be recorded by the world and its peoples as a continuation of the rogue U.S.A. and end in compounding American War Crimes past, present and future. This process of the species liberation cannot be stopped by the Arrogance of any section of the peoples abiding in the U.S. Empire which leads the entire Imperialist Camp in war crimes globally, and arrogance against the ecological organic green web of all life on the planet earth. There is no other equal
in present destruction of the worlds livability.
Viva socialist liberation. End pollution wars, not endless wars for more and more polluton. Re-tool the entire industrial revolution to the renewables, such as wind, tidal, and solar power which transforms to electricity and is more power than can be used by society. Restore the matriarchy by electing one man and woman per constituency politically, economically, religiously and judicially, thusly doubling democracy at all levels throughout society and around the world.
