From Register

Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club in American Canyon will be hosting a fundraising dinner and silent auction Friday to benefit the victims of this month’s earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

Eagle Vines is owned by Japanese residents Yoichi and Keiko Erikawa and operated by general manager Nobuhiro Mizuhara.

Chef Yoshi Sogi will prepare a Japanese “cherry blossom buffet dinner” and be on hand to prepare sushi and meet with guests.

Dinner, which will be taking place at the club from 5-8 p.m. Friday, is $40. All proceeds will go to the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, which is working to purchase and distribute food, water and supplies for the victims in Japan.
