MARCH 2ND: RALLY FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION!
March 2nd is the Statewide Day of Action in defense of public education. Students and workers at universities, colleges and K-12 schools throughout the state and out of state are standing up for public education, and so are we.
ON THE DAY OF ACTION-- Fight back against:
-Privatization
-Governor Jerry Brown's budget proposal
-effect of the 2012 UC Admissions policies
-the lack of a UCSC Ethnic Studies program
-issues for students of color
Don't Stand Back, Stand Up for your EDUCATION.
Are You Frustrated About:
-Courses Being Cut
-Majors Being Suspended
-Not Getting Into The Classes You Need For Your Major
-Loans That Are Piling Up!
-Overcrowded Classes W/Less TAs
This Is Your Education & You Do Have The Opportunity To Create Change! Let's Make Our Voices Heard.
