Maria Elena Martinez and Peter Rosset were part of the Via Campesina team that organized the international encampment of peasants and indigenous peoples and the Alternative Global Forum for Life, Environmental and Social Justice during the recent Global Climate Change Summit (COP-16) in Cancun, mexico. They will give an analysis of what took place there. Both live and work in Chiapas. Sponsored by the Chiapas Support Committee. Co-Sponsors: IDEX and Taskforce on the Americas.
