Independent Media is overlooked by the mainstream, but it represents a significant worldwide movement for democratic access to mass communication. Indybay.org embodies the philosophy and goals of the "IndyMedia" movement by providing an online space for independent news in the Bay Area. At the cite's ten year anniversary conference and celebration, Melody Sage asked attendees three important questions: What are the goals of IndyMedia? Why is it important? And what is your advice for the next generation of journalists? This "story booth" documentary invites viewers to re-imagine media, and to "get with us".
