Free, hands-on electronic music workshop for activists and the community at large in San Diego!
Participants will learn how to make a simple track using various sampling & collage techniques; and useful skills for anyone who wants to make a podcast (recording, editing sound, etc).
We’ll also discuss a bit about copyright/copyleft/creative commons, and the politics of making digital music today.
All software used is free and open source. No musical background necessary. If you know how to use a computer, you can come and try making music! If you have a headphone, please bring it along.
Please forward this info to anyone who might be interested.
