Santa Cruz NAACP Branch to Host Annual Labor Day BBQ and Picnic at DeLaveaga Park Sept. 5th; Public is Invited The Santa Cruz branch of the NAACP will host its annual Labor Day Barbecue and Picnic in the Cathedral Grove section of DeLaveaga Park (850 No. Branciforte Dr., Santa Cruz) on Sunday, September 5th, from noon 'til 5:00 p.m. The public is welcome to join in an afternoon of good company, tasty food and live entertainment. Barbecued chicken with beans, salad and dessert can be purchased with a $10.00 meal ticket. Children's hot dogs are $5.00. Meal tickets will be available onsite.
