Aiyana Jones, a 7-year-old Detroit resident, was murdered by police during a botched raid on her house. She was asleep on the couch in the living room when police threw a flash-bang grenade through the front window, burning her before they opened fire from the front porch into the house. She was shot in the face in front of her grandmother, who was then arrested as the police fabricated a story to make the killing seem more legitimate. Their story matters little as the whole tragedy was caught on film, as they had been a part of a reality-drama-cop show, "The First 48."
