East Bay | Anti-WarEast Bay Support For Gary McKinnon
As a Bay Area resident with Asperger's Syndrome, I find it difficult to watch the extradition process of Gary McKinnon trudge forward. How does someone with an Autism Disorder in California help save the health and freedom of a fellow Autistic in the United Kingdom? Watching an Autistic person be labeled a cyber-terrorist, a threat to America's cyber infrastructure, is daunting. If you, or someone you know has an Autism Disorder, please call 1-202-456-1111 and help stop the extradition. Please call if you are interested in Autism Rights. ![]() call_for_autism.jpg Calling the White House About Gary McKinnon and Autism: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-n7zy6hAZQ
============================= CALL: WHITE HOUSE LINE: 1-202-456-1111 ============================= In the UK courts, there will be another hearing regarding Gary McKinnon on May 25th and May 26th. The United States will continue to insist that all evidence regarding Autism be tossed out, as the continue to ignore evidence related to the true nature of Gary McKinnon's actions, such as his fascination with the concepts of UFOs and extraterrestrial life. The Pentagon couldn't have been bothered to password protect their own servers. America's military industrial complex couldn't be bothered to set even the most basic of security features. Anyone could have accomplished what Gary McKinnon is being prosecuted for. The Pentagon was not hacked. Their computers were accessed by someone using a dial-up modem; as well, no decryption software was needed. That is not hacking, that is not cracking; that is the stupidity of the Pentagon. It was innate curiosity which led the man with Asperger's, a neurological disorder, to enter the Pentagon's computer infrastructure. He was looking for pictures of UFOs. The current administration believes Gary McKinnon was maliciously engaged in cyber-warfare. At this point in the extradition process, a process which was started under the Bush administration a couple of years ago, all evidence related to Asperger's and the true motivation of Gary McKinnon's actions has been tossed out. Anything that doesn't fit the United State's assertions has not been allowed in court; thus the case continues to be framed in the context of terrorism, and Gary McKinnon continues to be labeled a terrorist threat. 70 years in a military prison is nothing less than a slow execution. How can someone with Autism be expected to exist in a tiny cell, in foreign nation, being guarded by soldiers? It is nothing less than torture.
