I.M.O.W. Board Member and author of I.M.O.W.'s "Clio Talks Back" blog Karen Offen presents her new book, "Globalizing Feminisms 1789-1945." The book charts feminists' attempts to restore a balance of power between the sexes against a backdrop of huge cultural, social and political transitions across the world, and includes key pieces on the history of feminism from an international group of scholars. "Globalizing Feminisms" will be available for purchase at the event.
