Sarah Cahill, acclaimed Bay Area pianist, writer, and producer, will perform "A Sweeter Music," a collection of works she commissioned by prominent modern composers, with inspiration from Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech: "We must see that peace represents a sweeter music, a cosmic melody, far superior to the discords of war." Music will be performed to a video of themed artwork by John Sanborn. Speaker Michael McConnell will discuss the role of art in creating peace. Guests who purchase reserved seats will have the opportunity to attend a reception with Sarah Cahill and Michael McConnell, as well as drinks and dessert. This event is a benefit for the American Friends Service Committee.

General Admission: $25 per person. For these tickets, go online to http://www.afsc.org/pacificmtn/.
