Peter McLaren is a professor in the UCLA Graduate School of Education. His talk, “Rethinking Students and Teachers: A Critical View of Schools and Society,” will detail approaches to learning with and from all members of society to encourage liberation from oppression. A group discussion will end Peter's talk. The Marxist School of Sacramento is the sponsor of this free and public event.
