Are prisons really more important than higher education? Our legislators seem to think so. On November 3rd and 4th 2009, the California State Student Association along with the Associated Students at every CSU, will be hosting a state wide Bake Sale for Higher Education. Since decision makers are ducking their responsibility in funding higher education students will take matters into their own hands and raise funds for the CSU. CSSA will collect the money and present members of the legislature with an oversized check during a press conference. The Warrior Street Team, a newly created group of volunteer student lobbyists, will be hosting the event in the quad at CSU Stanislaus. http://www.csustudents.org/documents/CSSA-...
