Critically acclaimed actress Alicia Silverstone discusses her new book at the Osher Marin JCC

The Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts at the Osher Marin JCC presents an evening with Alicia Silverstone, long time advocate for environmental causes & critically acclaimed actress ("Clueless") on Nov. 5, 2009 at 7:00 pm. The event will be held at the Osher Marin JCC in San Rafael as the opening event of our Fabulous Foodies series. Alicia will discuss her new book, THE KIND DIET: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet, sharing how eating a plant-based diet can be a major contribution toward improving the health of your body as well as our planet.

The evening will include Alicia demonstrating easy steps on how to get started, a question and answer session followed by tastings, book sales and author signing!
