What risks does the changing climate pose to the global economy and how can we manage those risks? Schneider is an eminent climate scientist who first testified about climate change in the 1970s and has been active in the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. He will also address how complex science and inevitable uncertainty get simplified and, he says, distorted by the mainstream media.
