JR’s new film is screening in Oakland at 7pm Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday
“Operation Small Axe,” Minister of Information JR’s new film on police terrorism as headlined in the murders of Oscar Grant and Lovelle Mixon, debuts at the Oakland International Film Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m., at Merritt College, 1250 Campus Drive, Oakland, in the Huey P. Newton-Bobby Seale Room;
Sunday, Oct. 11, 7 p.m., at the Uptown, 1928 Telegraph Ave., Oakland;
Tuesday, Oct. 13, 6:30 p.m., at Jack London Cinema No. 1, 100 Washington St., Oakland.
“Operation Small Axe” is a work in progress, as the Movement for Justice for Oscar Grant – with triggerman Johannes Mehserle currently pushing for a venue change out of Oakland (shades of Rodney King’s torturers’ acquittal in Simi Valley) – is far from over. The name of the film refers to the line from Bob Marley’s song, “Small Axe”: “If you are the big tree, we are the small axe ready to cut you down.”

1. He claims, with absolutely no evidence, that Your Black Muslim Bakery were victims of cointelpro. There are several children from the child rapes by Yusef Bey, not to mention several dead bodies because of this gangster-cult activities.
Here's a video of Michael Willis (one of several YBMB victims) who was murdered in North Oakland by these buddies of JR because he was white.

2. He claims that Lovelle Mixon was a hero. Before the shooting the OPD were looking for Mixon on various rape crimes including that of 12 year old. The police have the DNA. Unless you want to believe some improbable conspiracy theories it's obvious this guy was nothing but a plague on the East Oakland community
3. He was on the phone with Yusef Bey IV, while Bey was stalking outside the home of Chauncey Bailey the night before he was murdered. This was reported by the East Bay Express and JR refused to comment about the nature of the call. Of course JR along with SF Bayview newspaper is peddling some absurd conspiracy theory that Chauncey Bailey was murdered by the OPD. Check the secretly taped video by the police of Yusef Bey IV admitting his involvement in bailey's murder at the Chauncey Baily project.

YOU BELIEVE the police have the DNA of Mixon in that rape case. It's never been independently verified. It's just the word of the OPD, and they always smear everyone they kill and deny any fault whatsover. I'd be willing to bet any amount of money that if anyone ever got serious about testing their claim, you'll find that the supposed DNA evidence was somehow destroyed or lost by OPD.
several freedom of information requests have been filed with OPD, and they refuse to release any documents pertaining to the DNA evidence...obviously because it doesn't exist.
