Pini Cohen, the commander that in charge, seems to think that he is directing a movie. He keeps yelling at other police personal to film activists while ranting lists of grievances against them, and threatening to arrest everyone.
Towards the end of the day he is heard saying that no Palestinians will be allowed to cross the gate the next day, as a punishment. Maybe Pini is saving all the video images for the day when he retires from the military to write a movie about how hard it was for him to oppress people, the pain that he endured while denying people basic rights and assisting in war crimes. these kind of movies are very common in Israel, where soldiers "shoot and then cry" .

While leaving the settlement, I notice a monument to those who founded "Har Adar". An olive tree was planted in their honor. Those who live here see no contradiction between this monument and the fact that lass then mile from here hundreds of olive trees are surrounded by fences and walls.
