"Actually, We CAN Change the World" OPEN HOUSE to discuss and plan to take out special high school issue of REVOLUTION -High School Cover This Sunday, at Revolution Books, the Revolution Club is having an Open House for young people to discuss this special issue of Revolution and to strategize on how to get it in the hands of middle school and high school students all over the Bay Area and beyond. We need a whole new generation digging into Revolution - having their sights raised and their assumptions challenged and asking the big questions - what are our lives going to be about? Check out the issue on line - "Actually, We CAN Change the World" It breaks down the myth, now being promoted by Obama in a big away, that in America every young person can be whatever they want if they just make the right "choices." It shows the oppressive reality of the imperialist system that we live in and that the only good "choice" is to be part of a revolutionary movement to put an end to it. There are moving accounts written by young people breaking out of religion, the military, and the hustler life and becoming emancipators of humanity. And this will be an opportunity for thousands of young people, who are beginning to question why the world is the way it is, to be introduced to a real revolutionary communist leader, Bob Avakian, who has given his heart and everything he has to making revolution and bringing into being a radically different and liberated world. If this is something you want to see, you need to come through this Sunday to be part of building a revolutionary movement. Bring your friends, thoughts, questions, and creativity. This system has no future for the youth... Revolution does! -Bay Area Revolution Club
