Urbanites Unite in Support of Family Farms on Labor Day

by Sunnyvale Sam
Visitors to an Eat-In and Farm Tour at Full Circle Farm in Sunnyvale were inspired to join a movement that fosters family-scale agriculture.

Urbanites signed on to unite with farmers who care for the land, sustain local economies and promote social justice.

When you are in the South Bay you are in Raging Granny territory! The Raging Grannies strive to serve bran and soy....to ever girl and boy!

Twinkle Twinkle Veggie Treats
tune: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Grannies serve good stuff to eat -- Fruits and veggies, what a treat
Beans and carrots taste real swell -- help our insides work so well

Grannies serve good stuff to eat -- Healthy lunches can't be beat
We just love that bran and soy -- Give them to each girl and boy

Will the Grannies manage to go 100% vegetarian in time for their stage appearance at the SF Vegetarian Festival in early October? Stay tuned to see!
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
