Richmond Trade Unionists Support Environmental Rally Against Chevron

On 8/15/12209 at a rally against the Chevron company in Richmond, California Diane Brown, a member of the United Teachers of Richmond and the Progressive Teachers Caucus and Charles Smith, AFSCME 444 East Bay Mud chief shop steward spoke out on the role of Chevron, labor and the environment. Smith said his local was supporting the ATU 1555 BART workers and that all workers should support their struggle which also was about protecting the environment.
