In his third appearance for Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, renowned intellectual Noam Chomsky will address diverse yet connected issues such as the global economic crisis, US military intervention, left electoral and social movement upsurges in places like Latin America, and the presidency of Barack Obama. The title of the talk is meant to contrast the so-called crises of the first world countries with more pressing humanitarian concerns amongst impoverished peoples.

Tickets go on sale August 24 for members of Peninsula Peace and Justice Center and August 31 for the general public.
