A better world is possible!

At Revolution Books you can delve into and debate revolutionary theory – why the world is in the shape it is in and why it is possible to move to a world without oppression that we would all want to live in -- a communist world. Genuine revolutionary theory is both indispensable and invigorating. And this is especially true for Bob Avakian’s works including his compelling re-envisioning of communism, and his analysis of why revolution is possible and what it is all about.

Revolution Books promotes communism, and the publications of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA, as well as works of the parties and organizations who are participants in the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement. Our stock includes literature in Spanish and other languages. Revolution Books has concentrated an extensive selection of important and often hard to find (or suppressed) books that focus on key questions of philosophy, science, art and history as well as the key issues and battle fronts in today’s struggle against the imperialist system -- books that can inspire, challenge people to think in new ways, and introduce people to different lives and worlds.

We also organize author readings, political forums, as well as other organized discussion. Check out and support Revolution Books, an all-volunteer bookstore (volunteers wanted!) just two blocks from the UC Berkeley campus. Revolution Books is a part of a political network of Revolution Books stores across the country.
