“SF State on Strike 1968 Coming”.
See how students banded together in a struggle against an oppressive, racist administration which resulted in the longest campus strike in United States history! This strike laid the groundwork for establishing a College of Ethnic Studies at SF
State and inspired the establishment of ethnic studies classes and programs in universities all over the country. The history of this strike is inspirational and we can learn from the strategies these students laid out and apply them to
our current struggle against the budget cuts to our education.

Discussion after the screening. Free food provided.
