Sea urchin and jellyfish are not mere marine life to be tasted at Japanese and Chinese restaurants. They are among the coastal creatures endangered by offshore oil drilling and were well represented along with sea turtles and dolphins at a rally held in San Francisco on April 16. A coalition of environmental groups held a rally featuring music and street theater outside a public hearing to press Interior Secretary Ken Salazar NOT to open new areas of the West Coast to offshore oil drilling.
