Public forum and educational on the housing crisis in the Bay Area, as well as the history of May Day in the United States. Legal information and advice will available to assist home owners in their negotiations with financial institutions, as well as renters who are effected by foreclosure. There will be a discussion on strategy and tactics, and a latter showing of a segment of the film The Salt of the Earth. Anglo and Mexican American Miners organize an anti-eviction campaign on company land in this historic labor film.
