During the 1930's thousands of artists did work under the Federal Arts Project that contributed to the culture and history of the United States. In San Francisco, the Coit Tower murals were being painted this month 75 years ago. This meeting will look at the artists of the 1930's, their union organizing and the struggle to defend artists and art today in the United States. We will also screen

This year is the 75th anniversary of the general strike and plans are being made for a march, concert and events throughout the month to celebrate this important victory for working people.
