Friday 2/6 is Oakland Critical Mass -
UNITE ON BIKES FOR JUSTICE!!!
Critical Mass is a bicycle demonstration that takes place in cities around the world, and means different things to different people. The 1st Friday of the month is Oakland’s Critical Mass. This one is especially significant, as it falls amidst the court dates of over 120 protesters who were arrested [during the Jan 7 & 14 uprisings in Downtown Oakland] for their justified expression of outrage at the police execution of Oscar Grant. Please come out and show support & bike solidarity in the fight for justice for Oscar Grant, and for past, present, and further victims of police brutality. Meet at 6:00pm, Frank Ogawa Plaza, Oakland City Hall, 13th & Broadway. Fucking bring it!
[Please also come support those wrongfully criminalized and arrested during the protests. Two important court dates are on Fri 2/6 & Mon 2/9 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, at Wiley W. Manuel Courthouse, 661 Washington St.]
