Anticipating more violent protests in the coming weeks, Oakland officials said they'll hire unarmed private security guards to patrol downtown and help provide additional "eyes and ears" to police, Mayor Ron Dellums said Thursday.

If you know that a Bank does Evil and you smash its windows,
you wont look like an idiot at trial if you get arrested. If you smash a small shoe sales shop windows, many people will say you were stupid.

have anything to do with a crime committed by a BART Police officer?
I don't understand the connection. People smashed the windows at Wallgreens. What was the point of that? Those of us who live in downtown Oakland buy our toothpaste there. We know the cashiers, they are part of our community. When you take out anger on people (or businesses) who are innocent bystanders, you just increase the amount of hate in the world. They criminal is in jail. No bail Now Justice. Now Peace.

The innocent bystanders are still alive/
The innocent, unarmed young Brother is still DEAD. On the 7th and the 15th, some innocent bystanders their losses, but expressed the sentiment as above. How about expressing synpathy and support to the grieving family for a refreshing change ? | |||||||||||||||||||||||
