a special showing of the film, "Soldiers of Conscience", the award-wining documentary featuring interviews with American soldiers who decided to become conscientious objectors in Iraq -- as well as soldiers who support the war.

And an inter-faith discussion on the difficult moral and ethical decisions faced by soldiers and others in time of war -- including when or if it can be acceptable to do harm to others, the possibility of conscientious objection, and whether we support or oppose violence through how we live our lives -- within the framework of our own spiritual or religious values.

(Discussion wil be facilitated by Multifaith Voices for Peace and Justice member and US Air Force veteran Craig Wiesner)

A light vegetarian dinner will be served at 6:00pm. Please RSVP for the dinner or if you have special needs.
