Israel's invasion of Gaza is a crime against humanity. Every
day brings new atrocities. While the overwhelming majority of
the people of the world support the right to self-determination
for the Palestinian people, the U.S. government stands 100%
behind Israel, indeed, Israel's war machine is little more
than an extension of the Pentagon. The American press vilifies
Hamas, but forgets to add that they were democratically
elected and maintained a 6 month truce, even while Israel
blockaded and starved the Gaza Strip. It is not enough
to "blame both sides" in this conflict. Israel's aggression is
terrorism against a civilian population and the Palestinian
people have the right to defend themselves.

Come to a lecture and open discussion by two leading anti-war
activists. Learn the real history behind the war and find
out what you can do to help free Palestine from colonial rule.

Speakers:

Dr. Jess Ghannam,
Al-Awda Palestinian Right of Return Coalition & Free Palestine Alliance

Nihar Bhatt,
International Socialist Organization
