The Iranian-American Community (IACUS) strongly condemns the Israeli massacre of innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza. We, as the rest of the people of the Middle East are also fully aware that such crimes would not have been possible without collaboration on the part of not just the US administration but also some Arab governments.

The shameful silence of the Saudi, Egyptian, and Jordanian governments will never be forgotten nor forgiven by citizens of those countries and the rest of the Middle East. Why is the puppet regime of Hosni Mubarak in Cairo closing the borders to the besieged Palestinians who are being starved in the Gaza Strip?

The fact remains that despite such crimes, the Israeli Zionists will not be able to topple the democratically elected government of Hamas and will only help increase its prestige and following. We believe the latest invasion and the resulting war crimes are desperate and failed measures on the part of the Zionist corrupt leadership to distract the Israeli public and world attention from the political crisis that has been swallowing the corrupt apartheid regime of Israel.
