Directions to Environmental Center/ SRH at Merritt College:
Public Transportation: AC Transit on Line 54M (from Fruitvale BART Station).
Driving: From the Warren Freeway (Highway 13) exit Redwood Road (southbound) or Carson Street (northbound), follow signs up Redwood Road to Campus Drive, turn right and proceed to the Campus. From the MacArthur Freeway (Interstate 580East) exit 35th Avenue and turn left at the light onto 35th Avenue. 35th Avenue will become Redwood Road; continue to the campus as above. At the entrance to Merritt College campus you will see a paved road that curves around the buildings on the Bay View side. Follow that road to its end, at Parking Lot E. The Environmental Center (Self Reliant House) is a house at the north end of Parking Lot E, on the left as you walk up the gated paved road, before the track and field area.
