Monday, December 15, 8 PM from http://www.mpjc.org/
Advocates of Marin Clean Energy,
VERY Important 2nd Reading
San Rafael City Hall meeting:
The San Rafael City Council will be holding the 2nd and final hearing and taking a vote on whether to approve the Marin Energy Joint Powers Authority (JPA) authorizing the implementation of the MCE program. This is a very important vote, and we ask you to show up and make your choices known.
The final staff report from Ken Nordhoff RECOMMENDS a vote FOR joining the JPA, and, we are told, the council members give enormous weight to staff's recommendations. Nevertheless, Council members still need to hear pro-MCE voices at Monday's hearing.
We encourage you to speak(1 to 2 minutes max) especially if you've never spoken up previously on MCE, and ALL of us need to be prepared to counter any further delay tactics by PG&E! Voices from LOCAL BUSINESSES advocating support for MCE would be especially welcome!
Here's the difficulty: the meeting starts at 8:00 PM, but scheduled
Hopefully, there will be good news at evening's end! Thanks for your help!

Kiki La Porta (415-461-6677)
