The public is invited to celebrate the life and times20of former gubernatorial,

presidential and vice-presidential candidate Peter Camejo, who died Sept. 13 at

his home in Folsom, after a lengthy fight with cancer. Fellow students of

Camejo, who was expelled from USB for activities opposing the Vietnam War, will

be on hand to commemorate his life as a student leader during that era. Other

speakers include those Mr. Camejo worked with as a leader in the socially

responsible investment industry, the Green Party's gubernatorial races in the

2002, 2003 and 2006, as Ralph Nader's vice-presidential candidate in 2004 (Nader

will speak on their time together), and as a presidential candidate for the

Socialist Workers Party.
