ICE Protest on Friday, October 31
by puck lo
Sunday Nov 2nd, 2008 10:33 PM
Hundreds of young people - mostly from migrant communities - organized this protest in response to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids that swept through Bay Area cities last week. Youth and supporters locked to each other and metal barrels, barricading the driveway and two entrances of the ICE building in downtown San Francisco. They demand an end to the ICE raids and an enforcement of San Francisco and Oakland's sanctuary city laws, which are supposed to prohibit police to collaborate with ICE agents.

These are fabulous. You really captured the intensity and excitement of the event. The young folks who did this are to be commended for their creativity and passion which you documented so well.
