Join Code Pink, DASW, Stop AIPAC and others as we gather to protest a resolution pending in Congress that demands that Bush "initiate an international effort to ....prohibiting the export to Iran of all refined petroleum products; imposing stringent inspection requirements on all persons, vehicles, ships, planes, trains, and cargo entering or departing Iran"
The language is clearly a call for a naval embargo. H Con Res 362 is opposed by Peace Action, Council for a Livable World and many others. It is a central legislative priority of the pro-war lobby AIPAC. It is now supported by a majority of the House. We can still stop this. We must speak up.
