McCarthy Builders of San Francisco - Contractors for Animal Torture

by Stop Cal Vivisection
McCarthy Building Companies Inc. contractors for new animal torture facility at UC Berkeley.
The McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. (http://www.mccarthy.com) received the contract for UC Berkeley's Li Ka-Shing Center for Biomedical and Health Sciences, currently under construction at University Avenue and Oxford Way.

Currently under construction and scheduled for completion in March 2010, the facility will include a basement level animal laboratory. It will provide a seventy percent expansion of UC Berkeley's existing Northwest Animal Facility. 40,000 animals are currently exploited in "research" at UC Berkeley - that means tens of thousands more will languish, suffer, and die at UC Berkeley at any given time.

The company has an office in San Francisco at:
343 Sansome Street, 14th Floor
San Francisco, California 94104

We are calling on concerned individuals to please call and e-mail and let the individuals at McCarthy Building Companies know how you feel about their decision to make possible the torture of thousands of sentient beings:

Rich Henry, President, McCarthy Building Company, Northern Pacific Division
