These are shots of the civil disobedience action at the Chevron facility on Sat. This was an expression of opposition to the illegal occupation of Iraq, and the pollution inflicted upon the local community by the 100-year-old Chevron facility. Chevron intends to use dirtier oil at the refinery, which will increase the amount of local pollution and it's cancerous effects. If Big Oil couldn't make money off the war, it wouldn't be happening, hence the logic of blocking the entrance.
