yeah - they showed the guy facing camera with white shirt and cap on TV this morning shoving high school kids, one of whom was riding a bicycle.
The man with the plaid shirt might have been one shown from Colorado, vowing not to return until he gets an apology. He seemed to be deliberately presenting a 'simple' working-class patriot perspective, in order to call elitist anyone who has a more nuanced view of troop support, such as not wishing to recruit more troops to be abused. Seriously, Berkeley supports way more than its share of mentally ill veterans of foreign wars.

What already? So we knew that FOX is not really NEWS but right wing propaganda but I'm monitoring the slant just to see HOW badly they misrepresent. No mention that CodePink and other anti-war activists are in the majority. Dismissive of the anti-war comments and keep featuring (just now again at 2:25pm) the "mothers of fallen soldiers" and their demands for apologies.
FOX also is reporting that by revisiting of the previous Council resolution to unwelcome the Marines they "Obviously" regret their statement. Really twisting things. Nice to see some of our friends on TV...especially the large signs saying "Canada: Let War Resisters Stay".

The Daily Californian reports today that City Council members received death threats. Undoubtedly from our out-of-state visitors who get themselves riled up and come to California looking for a fight. Fellow anti-war activists, the Goddess be with you and protect you!

oh yes, they reported that her name is Roberta Allen in the other paper, so I found this article again. A public records search at the state level has people with reasonable age range and that name in Ben Lomond, Berkeley (unlikely) and Davis.
